The plain terms of being a member of LA PASSION.life. Written to be read.

What LA PASSION.life Is

A place where people put up Passion Plumes — a salon, a club, a class, an outing, a table, a conversation — around what they are passionate about, and find the people who want it too. Anyone may look. To join a salon, message a member, or start a salon, you are a member.

Membership

One membership covers everything: joining and starting as many Passion Plumes as you like, and messaging members. It is a year, paid once, and renews each year on the same day unless you stop it. The first hundred people to join hold two years for their first payment. The price is shown on this site in Australian dollars and includes GST for Australian members.

Stopping

You may stop your membership at any time from My Plumes. It runs to the day you have paid to, then ends; nothing further is charged. Your Passion Plumes stay up until then.

Who We Are, And Are Not

We are the place, not the host. We do not vet members, hosts or Passion Plumes. We do not attend them, and we are not responsible for what any person says or does in one, online or in person, or for anything that happens between members. You choose who you meet, where and when, and you use your own judgement. Read Protecting The Passion — it is what every member has promised.

Hosting A Passion Plume

A host is responsible for their own Passion Plume: what it is, where it meets, who they let in, and how it is run. Any money, venue, ticket or arrangement between a host and a member is between them; nothing passes through us. A host may ask anybody to leave.

Your Words And Pictures

What you put up stays yours. By putting it up you let us show it on LA PASSION.life so people can find it. Do not put up what is not yours to put up.

Adults Only

You must be 18 or over to be a member.

When A Membership Ends Early

A member who breaks the promise in Protecting The Passion, or uses LA PASSION.life to sell, spam, harass or harm, loses their membership without refund.

Changes

When these terms change we say so here, with the date. Continuing to use LA PASSION.life after that is agreeing to them.

The Law

LA PASSION.life is run from Australia by Lamoureux Lane, ABN 40 366 975 511, and these terms follow Australian law. Nothing here takes away a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
